The Empire of Lies on the Road to End

Lies are the Embodiment of Evil

                                                Victor Marie Hugo

The Russian Empire is once again suffering defeat, this time under Putin. It should be noted that since Napoleon, who won every battle against the Russians and captured Moscow, Russia has never won a single war it unleashed. The greatest damage to Russia came from its defeat in World War I and the shameful Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. Nicholas II, declaring war on Austria and Turkey, did not foresee how tragic his expansionist plan would be for the empire and for him personally. True, Russia defeated Germany in World War II, but that victory was a victory for the anti-Hitler coalition, and it is unknown how that war would have ended for Russia without assistance from the United States and Great Britain. The Russians suffered two more defeats – the so-called Winter War with Finland and the war in Afghanistan. The humiliating defeat in the Cold War with the Western democracies ended with a very tragic result – the collapse of the USSR.

Although Putin studied history, he apparently failed to draw the necessary conclusions. With the mentality of a St. Petersburg kid and the terrorist skills acquired in the KGB, he believed that Ukraine would fall at the feet of Russia in two or three days, which, as he claimed, he had raised from its knees. Yes, Putin raised Russia from its knees, but not to improve the country's prosperity, but to wage war – a war to seize territories that had previously been part of the Soviet Empire. Presumably, the next victims of Putin's intentions are Georgia, Kazakhstan, and so on down the list.(1)

However, Putin's blitzkrieg failed; the Ukrainians routed the Russian invaders on the outskirts of Kyiv. The Ukrainian people, by demonstrating courage, showed the Russians that they do not wish to again find themselves in the prison of nations that is Russia. Moreover, judging by the historical opus published by Putin, there is no place there for either the Ukrainian people or a country called Ukraine. This implies that the fascist Putin's goal of exterminating the Ukrainian people is no different from Hitler's goal of exterminating the Jewish people. This is called nothing less than genocide. Raschism is the Russian version of German fascism.(2) It is interesting to note that the notorious liar Putin positions himself as an anti-fascist. One cannot help but recall the prophetic dictum of Winston Churchill:

"The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists."

Winston Churchill's brilliant prediction has become reality in Putin's Russia. One must assume that the democratic West will rid humanity of Russian fascism, just as it saved it from German fascism.

As for Russia's war with Ukraine, it will lose it, like all the previous ones. Russia suffered a shameful defeat in Afghanistan, despite its incomparable superiority in weapons and resources. If an Afghan peasant armed with a homemade assault rifle defeated professional Russian killers equipped with planes, missiles, tanks, and other paraphernalia of the most modern weaponry, then the Russians have no chance of victory in Ukraine, which is being aided by the West with ever-increasing supplies of weapons. Putin's special operation, which has escalated into a full-scale war, will undoubtedly end in defeat, with far-reaching consequences.

Firstly, we must hope that this time the West will not make the same mistake in providing assistance as it did after the collapse of the Soviet Empire. Secondly, the second collapse of the Russian Empire, which the French traveler Marquis de Custine called a prison of nations, will prove catastrophic. The fact is that, unlike previous empires such as the British or French, which had overseas colonies, the Russian Empire is monolithic. All its colonial peoples live within a common state border. Therefore, its disintegration will inevitably affect the metropolis itself, historically known as Muscovy. (3,4) The fate that Putin was preparing for Ukraine in his special denazification operation could result in the denazification of Russia itself and the Russian people. Putin, who loves to refer to proverbs, forgot one: don't dig a hole for someone else, you'll fall into it yourself.
