On Yakov Kedmi's Racism

Israeli Yakov Kedmi is known for his racism and undisguised hatred of the peoples of the Caucasus, whom he once, grumbling and squealing, denigrated on the television show "Mudozvon," calling them tribes and gangs under national flags, incapable of and having no right to their own state (1). As a pro-Russian propagandist, Yasha never misses an opportunity to express his secret, vicious hatred of the Anglo-Saxons and the Ukrainian people, echoing Putin's assertion that there is no Ukrainian people as such, much less a country like Ukraine.

Kedmi positions himself as an expert on nationality issues. In this regard, Kedmi's opinion on foreigners and immigrants, whose presence in the population of over 20% of the indigenous population poses a threat to its identity, is interesting. Presumably, they're referring to people from Eastern countries, which are distinguished by high fertility and, of course, religious affiliation and mentality, such as Arabs and Jews, who are quite resistant to assimilation. It's hard to disagree with Kedmi here. The presence of Russians in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, where the population is over 20%, could destabilize the situation and lead to Russian intervention, as happened in Ukraine.

Thus, Kedmi's racism also has a positive side. For example, Israeli laws are very selective in their immigration policy. However, I have some doubts about what Yasha will say if other countries, such as America, where there are more Jews than in Israel, follow Israel's example.
