   Putin, having gathered a huge army around Ukraine, swore that this was for military exercises, and no more, assuring that attacking Ukraine was not part of the Kremlin's plans. An ultimatum was sent to the West regarding NATO. And he attacked Ukraine, which is in no way connected with NATO. I would have attacked Estonia, or Slovakia, as members of NATO. But what about Ukraine! The Russian liar (1) said that only a madman can think about the revival of an empire within the borders of the USSR, however, the invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine with the annexation of its territory, which began in 2014, testifies to the opposite. How can one not recall Putin's words about the rest of the former republics of the USSR:

 

“The question arises: if this or that republic became part of the Soviet Union, but received a huge amount of Russian lands, traditional Russian historical territories, and then suddenly decided to leave this Union - well, at least then it came out with what came. And I wouldn’t drag gifts from the Russian people with me.”

   True, Putin forgot to mention the circumstances of how the peoples of these republics ended up in the Russian Empire, and the entry of these republics into the Soviet Union cannot be called voluntary. As for the "gifts" Putin decided not to specify.

 

And about Kazakhstan, which will probably be the next candidate for Russian aggression: He (Nazarbayev) created a state on a territory where there never was a state. The Kazakhs did not have statehood”

   It turns out that Putin is that madman who dreams of a Russian empire within the borders of the Soviet Union, and possibly an empire when it included the territories of Poland and Finland.
