The Nightingale Whistle of Yakov Kedmi

 

 

The well‑known in Russia participant of the TV show “Nightingale Shit”, the Israeli Yakov Kedmi — who usually responds to the very first call of the Kremlin nightingale, known as the “evening Dick‑Ringer”(1), to shit on Ukraine — did not miss the chance to speak when given the opportunity, this time about the Karabakh war. When the Dick‑Ringer asked Kedmi what he thought about the war in Karabakh, Kedmi seemed to snap off the chain and blurted out on air all the accumulated malice in his head toward the peoples of the Caucasus and, at the same time, Central Asia:

“The problem of the North Caucasus, the problem of Karabakh, the problem of the Turkish sultan who has broken off the leash and is without a muzzle — all these problems are solved only in one place. This place is called Moscow, the Kremlin.” “In the post‑Soviet space these are tribes, gangs under national flags. And if there is no force that takes responsibility to look down from above.” “They are incapable if someone from above does not hold them.” “The element of calm in the Caucasus has always been Russia. When it upheld this, it was quiet. When it stopped fulfilling its historical duty in this area, it fell into war and death. These regions cannot exist on their own — not physically, not politically, not economically, not demographically — as separate national enclaves called states, without someone imposing order there. They just cannot, that’s it!”

In other words, Kedmi — who no less furiously accuses Western democracy for supporting Kyiv — calls on the Kremlin to restore the Soviet empire (the USSR), for which, like any empire, democracy is contraindicated (2). By the way, 500 years ago, when Jews were expelled from Spain and not a single Christian country wanted to see them, it was precisely the Turkish sultan — the one on whom the Jew Yakov Kedmi now pours his anger — who gave them refuge and the right to perform all religious rituals. I want to note that during the Inquisition, when Europe dealt with non‑believers by fire and sword, Turkey was the only country where freedom of religion was upheld. The right to freedom of religion in Turkey has never been violated, and this tradition remains in the country to this day. And since we are speaking of religion, in Turkey religion is separated from the state, unlike in Israel, where Halakha laws are state laws.

At first I thought Kedmi was simply biased, dependent on the Dick‑Ringer’s handouts, which he finds hard to refuse after being kicked out — I don’t know for what — of Mossad. But the vicious rage with which he attacked the peoples of the Caucasus is phenomenal. However, if we also take into account how Yasha treats the Baltic states — the first to run away from the Russian empire — it gives the impression that he has developed a persistent pathological hatred toward all peoples who freed themselves from colonial dependence after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

It must be said that most Jews who left the USSR, like Kedmi, feel nostalgia for the dissolved country. I explain this by the unique position of Jews compared to all other peoples of the Russian empire: they were the cementing nation, because unlike the others they were not an indigenous people with territorial rights. Moreover, it was precisely the Jews who, after the dynasty of Norman‑German tsars who ruled Rus’ and then Russia, managed to take power in 1917, save Russia from territorial collapse — as happened with the Ottoman and Austro‑Hungarian empires — and recreate the Russian empire in the form of the Soviet Union. And although Stalin, who single‑handedly dispersed the Trotsky‑Zinoviev bloc and became the sole ruler of the empire (3), continued to rely on Jews in the political, military, and economic administration of the country. Even after Stalin’s death, when for the first time in Russian history power ended up in the hands of ethnic Russians, the system created by Stalin continued to function by inertia for almost 40 more years until the collapse of the USSR, which caused a mass exodus of Jews.

And today Kedmi hopes that Putin will return the country to its previous state, and that the wild peoples who broke free will again fall under the Kremlin’s close supervision. Then, probably, the Israeli Yasha Kedmi will find peace of mind and may even return to his homeland — Moscow — permanently, instead of making occasional visits in the company of other whistlers (4,5) to bring the World the truth from the zombie‑box on the Dick‑Ringer’s TV show.
