Russian fascism
The world knows two countries - Germany
and Italy, where, taking advantage of the difficult economic situation,
fascists came to power, promising the people prosperity and a prosperous
future. Everything would be fine, but the fascists saw this prosperity in the
conquest of other peoples, who, due to their worthlessness, according to the
definition of fascist ideology, were obliged to ensure this very prosperity. It
should be noted that fascism as a state ideology arose in Italy, and only then
in Germany. The characteristic features of fascist ideology are the unlimited
will of the state (the Soviet Union) and Nazism. In Germany, Nazism took the
form of racism. Both countries were engaged in revenge to restore the former
Roman and German empires. The venture ended in collapse. The sad end of the
organizers of fascism is known, Hitler shot himself, and Mussolini was
shamefully hanged upside down by his people.
It would seem that such historical
experience should have been enough to avoid future mistakes, however...
However, in Europe, the shadow of Hitler has loomed again in the form of Russian President Putin, who regrets the collapse of the Soviet Empire and has decided to revive it within its former borders (1). The Russian Fuhrer is a perfect copy of all of Hitler's revanchist methods that led to the outbreak of World War II (2). It should be noted that Hitler, who had to go through a difficult path of political struggle, find like-minded people, and create a party before leading the German people, while Putin, unlike his predecessor, did not have much trouble enlisting the support of the Russian population to achieve his revanchist goals. The Great Russian chauvinism that Stalin pointed out has not gone away (3). Putin did not need a party, his party was the Russian people, who enthusiastically accepted aggressive actions to restore the empire, starting with the cry "strangle the vermin" (Chechnya) and the subsequent wars with Georgia and Ukraine, and the annexation of part of their territories. Having destroyed all the rudiments of Yeltsin's democracy, from which the people spat blood, Putin returned to totalitarianism as the most acceptable system for a people with an imperial worldview. The Russian people saw in Putin a leader capable of returning the empire to its former glory. The propaganda of military patriotism, the Victory madness in the form of pompous military parades, the militarization of the country and the annexation of foreign territories testify to the maturity of fascism established in Russia. Fascist ideology requires enemies, as a result, Russia today has no friends. All former fraternal nations, and recently the Belarusian people, shy away from Putin's Russia as a dangerous and evil neighbor. Russia's dubious friends include the Tehran Islamic obscurantists, the Syrian dictator Assad, the socialist Maduro, who destroyed the Venezuelan economy, and the Armenian Dashnaks, responsible for the terrorist attacks in the Moscow metro. Since 1890, Dashnaktsutyun has been the first fascist party whose goal was the ethnic cleansing of the territory of Turkey and Azerbaijan for the mythical "Greater Armenia".
By the way, the authorities in Armenia are so imbued with an understanding of the facts indicating the emergence of fascism in Russia that they dared to erect a monument in Yerevan to the Nazi criminal General Nzhdeh (Ter-Harutyunyan), commander of the Armenian Legion in the Wehrmacht, who was sentenced to life in the Soviet Union. Putin, who accuses the Poles, Estonians, Lithuanians, Latvians and Ukrainians of glorifying people who fought against the Soviet occupation and of tearing down monuments to Russian soldiers, did not say a word about the grand opening of a monument to an outspoken fascist in the capital of Armenia.
It is worth noting the paradoxical
circumstance that Putin's propagandists, the overwhelming majority of whom are
of Jewish nationality (4) and who suffered the most from fascism, today,
together with the Armenians, are especially zealous in supporting Russian
fascism, foaming at the mouth, inciting Russians against the fraternal
Ukrainian people, and the ardent defender of the Russian Fuhrer Putin, Vladimir
Solovyov, known as the "evening Asshole" (5), went so far as to make
a film praising the founder of European fascism, Benito Mussolini.
What can I say! Fascism is making great
strides in Russia, a country that fought against fascism in the past.
