Monotheism is Evil that divides the human race

Monotheism is Evil that divides the human race

First, I want to clarify that I am not an atheist, but I am not a follower of any religious denomination. Rather, I am a dualist, based on the fact that Matter and Reason in the Universe are in complete harmony and cannot exist without each other.

An interesting observation: if you are an atheist, then a believer is usually indifferent to you, however, if you are a believer, but of another denomination, then you are an enemy. A believer of monotheism is even more embittered by a representative of another direction of the same denomination, for example, the enmity between Catholics and Protestants, Sunnis and Shiites. A zealous attitude towards God between believers to the point of madness has been characteristic of monotheism since its inception and, unfortunately, to a greater or lesser extent, continues to this day. Even in the holy of holies of Christianity - the Jerusalem Church of the Holy Sepulchre - fanatical believers often start fights, not sharing the one God among themselves (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q88iQE6_t-c ). Or here is another wonderful example of "universal love" for the one God, demonstrated by Judeo-Orthodox Christians, who painted in Hebrew the Cross of Worship, erected in Uman (Ukraine) in honor of the 1025th anniversary of Orthodoxy.

It should be noted that the era of polytheism did not know such religious intolerance. It seems that the diversity among the many idols and their free choice allowed society to be more tolerant, and religious ideology did not have the merciless power to suppress other worldviews up to the physical destruction of the individual, which it became under monotheism, especially in the era of medieval obscurantism. By the way, democracy, as we know, first arose in the ancient world. We can safely assume that Humanity had to endure a fair share of misfortunes with the belief in one God. In any case, the history of paganism does not know endless religious wars.

I do not think that man became more humane after becoming acquainted with the 10 commandments allegedly given to him by God? If we are more consistent and punctual in the biblical legend, then all these commandments were originally given to the Jewish people. And, following the prescriptions of such religious sources of Judaism as the Torah and the Talmud, it turns out that the prohibitions "do not kill", "do not steal", "do not commit adultery" and others concern only Jews and do not apply to goyim (all other nations), that is, they have legislative force exclusively among the people chosen by God. In this case, the question involuntarily arises, is it not for this reason that the all-knowing God gave all these instructions to the Jews, as the most prone to such violations. It does not matter, by misunderstanding or intentionally, but the Jews interpreted this instruction from above as exclusivity, elevating themselves to the rank of the people chosen by God.

In short, it can be unequivocally stated that the Faith in one God, when religious fanatics cannot divide Him among themselves, has become an insurmountable obstacle that has divided Humanity and all attempts to destroy this ideological barrier are doomed to failure.

Recently, there has been a tendency to use religious intolerance for political purposes. This is what Israel does, transferring the struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom and independence into the mainstream of religious hatred, calling the Palestinians Islamists or, even more harshly, Islamic terrorists, although Islam has no direct relation to this struggle. Thus, by analogy, for example, the British could call the Indian fighters for independence Buddhists or Buddhist terrorists. Russia, in order to disavow the national liberation movement in Chechnya and Dagestan, also found its cause in Islam. In an effort to hide from the world community the true causes of today's terrorism and to absolve themselves of blame for its emergence, interested parties, using labels, replace true concepts with false ones (see "International terrorism and its interested parties" http://alikbahshi.livejournal.com/?skip=50#post-alikbahshi-1904). You will say that the Chechens burned Russian tanks on the streets of Grozny shouting "Allah is Great", which indicates a connection with Islam, but the Russians in World War I also rushed into a bayonet attack shouting "God is with us", and the same Christian God as the enemy. If at first the Kremlin called the Chechen partisans fighters, then later they became Islamic terrorists and Wahhabis. There were even Al-Qaeda envoys in the Caucasus, which is absurd, because Al-Qaeda is an Arab organization fighting America and Israel. Doesn't this coincide with the policy of the Kremlin, which has always been on the side of the Arabs? Remember how the Kremlin demonstratively received a delegation of Hamas from Gaza in opposition to Israel and America, but according to the Israeli definition, Hamas members are also Islamists. It turns out that there are good Islamists and there are bad Islamists, and how does this agree with the source itself – Islam.

In short, the interested parties of Islamic terrorism from Moscow and Tel Aviv, who are strategic opponents among themselves, can hardly explain such nonsense intelligibly. But an important conclusion follows from all this, namely the desire of the interested parties to use religious ideology for political purposes. Evil multiplied by Evil conceals a huge danger and opens a Pandora's box, from which the hatred of religious fanaticism will begin to spread throughout the world, which in fact can lead to a confrontation of civilizations, and this is what the interested parties from Moscow and Tel Aviv are intimidating the world community with. Moreover, this circumstance is skillfully used by the obscurantists from Tehran, who position themselves as true defenders of the Faith from the machinations of Satan (by default - Democracy). A nuclear baton in their hands will be a good help for such a godly cause, and the desire to acquire it, undoubtedly, finds justification in the eyes of religious fanatics.

In the religious aspect, an Islamist is, one must understand, a religious fanatic who professes Islam. By analogy, a Jew is a fanatic who professes Judaism. Why a fanatic, because he is ready to even give his life for the Faith or take someone's life for it. Maybe the point is that Islam is less tolerant of religions, more militant towards non-believers? Again, no, Islam is no better, and certainly no worse than Christianity, if you remember how ancient temples were destroyed at the dawn of Christianity. After all, it was Christianity that destroyed ancient culture. The works of ancient thinkers, philosophers, and scientists were consigned to oblivion. Christianity was spread by fire and sword in America, Africa, and Polynesia. Just look at the era of the Crusades! And the era of medieval obscurantism with the sophisticated tortures of the Inquisition! After all, two world wars that took millions of lives were also attributed to Christians. Or Judaism with its misanthropic ideology of the chosen people, compared to which the rest of Humanity is goyim, whose only reason for existence is to serve the Jews, on the grounds that “The difference between a Jew and a goy is so great that it cannot be compared with the difference between a man and an animal” (http://www.hofesh.org.il/haredim_papers/01/1201.html). Tell me, how do such Talmudic conclusions differ from the ideology of racism? And, although Christianity and Islam have nothing similar, all monotheistic faiths are united by one thing - irreconcilable hatred for each other, which is a source for unscrupulous politicians. Religion, although it proclaims virtue, in fact contains an element of discord.

Here is a paradox for you: it would seem that Faith in one God should unite people, but in fact it turned out to be exactly the opposite.

In democratic countries, religion is separated from the state, and this circumstance is one of the important signs of democracy. Countries where religious parties exist, where priests, ayatollahs, rabbis and other officials from religion take part in power, a priori cannot be considered democratic. Faith and Democracy are incompatible things, and such countries as Iran and Israel (1,2) are an example of this.

Trump's Problem

Trump's Problem

Picture background

"The moral choice turns out to be the most pragmatic”

                                                     Andrei Sakharo

It is difficult not to agree with Sakharov's words, but it is impossible to call the plans of the new owner of the White House, the pragmatist Donald Trump, moral. Just the opposite, they are deeply immoral. What is his intention to evict the Palestinian people from Gaza, to solve the problem of Israel's security! This is very reminiscent of Putin's plan to destroy the largest state in Europe called Ukraine, if its Ukrainian people are in fact Russian people, which was successfully proven by Putin after a thorough study of historical materials. In short, they both have the same approach: no people - no problem. What distinguishes them from each other is that one of them is a political rogue from the St. Petersburg back alley, the other is a pure-blooded businessman who has repeatedly gone bankrupt, far from politics, and therefore is ready to do anything for the sake of profit. By the way, at the dawn of Trump's career, his experiments in business were more than once a failure. So it is possible that Trump's experiments with the American economy, instead of making America Great as he said, could ruin the country
.

As for the problem of the war in Ukraine, business president Trump began by presenting Ukraine with a debt for the assistance it had received from America earlier, while simultaneously giving an order to stop it. From now on, military supplies can only continue if Ukraine signs an agreement granting America the right to mine rare earth metals on Ukrainian territory in exchange for the US commitment to security. At the same time, Trump forgets that America has already promised Ukraine similar commitments for its non-nuclear status and has not fulfilled them. So, who owes whom is a big question, because if Ukraine had kept its nuclear weapons, it would hardly have been attacked by Russia, which, having unleashed a war, inflicted enormous economic damage on the people of Ukraine.

Trump's impudence towards Ukraine is not only immeasurable, but also immoral! But such concepts are not present in Trump's mind. It should be noted that it is not for nothing that Elon Musk, a businessman far removed from politics and the most successful one, who needed lithium and other rare earth metals used in the batteries of his Tesla electric cars, was in his circle. Elon Musk, who is far from politics, needed politics only as a tool for achieving business goals, and nothing more. And what misfortunes are hidden behind this, both Trump and Musk are deeply indifferent. Can it be called a moral act if, at a meeting that Trump intends to hold, he shakes hands with the murderer and liar Putin? By the way, you can trust Putin only under one condition, to become like him by taking part in the destruction of Ukraine. By the way, this has already happened, because, echoing Putin, Trump defined Zelensky as a dictator who outstayed his presidential term without holding the elections required by the Constitution. Trump clearly does not know the history of his country, because during World War II, US President Franklin Roosevelt retained his post for a third term, which is a direct violation of the US Constitution. Holding elections in the conditions of a brutal war is untimely and dangerous, because it can lead to a temporary loss of central power and general chaos in the country, which the enemy will certainly take advantage of
.

It is a pity that America no longer has a politician equal to President Ronald Reagan, who destroyed the Evil Empire - the USSR - by purely political means. All subsequent American presidents turned out to be weak politicians, following the example of Obama (1), or even fools who believed in democracy in Russia, following the example of George W. Bush, who called Putin nothing less than "friend - Putin" (2,3). Not understanding what Russia and the Russian people are with their great-power worldview and pathological rejection of democracy (4), they trusted KGB Lieutenant Colonel Putin, who managed to convince the West of his commitment to democracy, allowing for the possibility of the revival of the Evil Empire, which, thanks to the liar Putin, was additionally defined as the Empire of Lies. How can one not recall Victor Hugo: "Lies are the embodiment of Evil”

In the article "Putin's Hand in the White House" I wrote: "One thing is clear: America will not avoid a major political and criminal scandal." (5) We must hope that the American people will correct their mistake by entrusting the post of president to the populist Donald Trump, who always begins his speeches with self-praise "if I were president, then ...".

Great Russian chauvinism, and Putin its führer

Alik Bakhshi

Great Russian chauvinism, and Putin its führer

The repulsive, arrogant appearance of the Russian president is entirely consistent with the blatant, outrageous, and, I would even say, uniquely brazen lies he told journalists during a meeting about the Russian army's invasion of Ukraine. It seems that lies and deceit are as inseparable from President Putin as a snail from its shell. Meanness, provocation, and immorality are, as reality shows, commonplace, characteristic features of Putin's activities, and perhaps not only as president:

- The oligarchs Berezovsky and Gusinsky, to whom Putin supposedly owes his power, were forced to flee Russia to avoid ending up behind bars, like Khodorkovsky. I remember in an interview with renowned television journalist Larry King, when asked what happened to the Kursk nuclear submarine, Putin replied, or rather, snapped, "It sank." King paused delicately, pointedly remaining silent, hoping Putin would shed light on the circumstances of the tragic loss of the submarine and its entire crew, but President Putin couldn't find even words of condolence for the drowned sailors.

To unleash a second war in Chechnya, Putin is orchestrating a provocation by blowing up apartment buildings, killing all the residents, and blaming the Chechens.

Taking advantage of the political naivety of the Americans and the traditional sleepiness of Europe, Putin manages to convince the West of his personal commitment to democratic principles and the irreversibility of the democratic reforms that have taken place in Russia. The military adventure in Georgia hasn't changed the West's attitude toward Russia either. It must be said that Putin was very lucky to have Bush Jr. This cowboy (it seems this definition most accurately describes a political amateur) called Putin nothing less than "friend Putin" (1). And today, "friend Putin" is a major problem for American President Obama. Incidentally, in my article "America Demands Change" (2), having predicted that Barack Obama would become president, I pointed out the need for the future occupant of the White House to take seriously the looming threat posed by Putin's Russia. However, I also noted there that Obama's rival, "John McCain, better understands what today's Russia is, whose imperial policies should not be ignored or condescending toward the curtailment of democratic institutions." Over 20 years of helping Russia strengthen its economy, the West has nurtured a snake that has now pulled out its sting, intending to swallow Ukraine. Once again, with the Evil Empire (3) in mind, I cite an Eastern proverb:

"Feeding a snake milk is like storing poison in it."

Knowing the Russian people's unacceptability of democracy, a resistance to which Russians are genetically immune (4.5), and understanding that outside the empire, the Russian people would be lost, Putin set the course "Back to the Empire" from the very first steps. With the West silently inactive, Putin dealt with the Chechen people, who had been hoping to gain freedom. Georgia was the second victim. True, the West, albeit belatedly, woke up, tearfully begging Putin to stop the Russian tanks already on the outskirts of Tbilisi, otherwise Georgia would have been doomed, having once again voluntarily expressed its desire to reunite with Russia. However, the proper lesson was not learned, and Russia's aggression went unpunished. And now Ukraine is next.

Putin has undoubtedly been preparing for an invasion for a long time. Two important points should be addressed here. First, Putin correctly bet on the corrupt Yanukovych of the "Party of Regions," financed entirely by businessmen of non-Ukrainian nationality. What kind of patriotism can we talk about if the main goal of these businessmen in politics is to line their pockets? A similar situation existed in Russia, but Putin, unlike Yanukovych, proved a patriot and dispersed the oligarchs who had prepared him for the role of puppet. Clearly, for the corrupt Yanukovych, Ukraine's accession to the EU meant only one outcome: prison, since the rampant corruption observed in Ukraine is in no way acceptable to the EU. This is precisely the reason Yanukovych reneged on his promise to bring Ukraine into the EU, which he made to its people before the elections, and this is precisely what Putin was counting on by helping the future traitor become president. And yet, the main reason for what happened to Ukraine is the gullibility and unscrupulousness of the Ukrainian people—I would even say, their carelessness in electing those in power. It's time to understand that nothing good can be expected from oligarchs, especially those of non-native origin, and their protégés, no matter what promises they make. After all, Ukrainians make up the majority of the country's population. Couldn't they have consolidated and chosen a worthy leader to avoid ending up in the current state? For example, the ethnic picture in Latvia was no better; it also had a high percentage of Russians, but Latvians were united in their choice of political leadership, understanding the danger that awaited them in the event of disunity and incoherence. Twenty years of independence, a wealthy country, a favorable climate, and a supposedly literate people—yet they were reduced to poverty, handed over to foreigners who suddenly disappeared, along with their money, to Switzerland and London, and to chatterboxes—just look at the Lady with the Braid! Take Yushchenko! Why couldn't Ukraine join the EU under him? Sometimes a parliamentary republic, sometimes a presidential one! They destabilized the country in every way possible. Freedom and independence are undoubtedly good, but one must also know how to use these benefits.

The second point is the significant number of Russians living compactly in the southeastern part of Ukraine. But this is not so much a matter of numbers, but of mentality. Russians and democracy—that's nonsense. If Ukraine joins the EU, democracy will become a daily reality, and Russians will find themselves like fish on ice, as happened in Russia under Yeltsin. This is the reason for the protest of the Russian population in Ukraine against joining the EU. Considering the above, plus the imperial worldview of the Russian people, combined with the Great Russian chauvinism that Stalin, the father of all nations, pointed out and which was easily aroused by the propaganda campaign launched against the Ukrainian people, Putin has a very powerful fifth column in Ukraine. Thus, dismembering Ukraine by force and annexing its entire southeastern part would not be difficult for Russia. It's all about the consequences. Has the Kremlin calculated them? That's a big question. One would think that Putin has found a sovereign, purely Russian economic model for the "sovereign democracy" he built! I can even guess what it will be: instead of goods-money-goods, it will be vodka-labor camp-vodka. Or perhaps Putin wants to go down in history as the champion of Crimea? Whatever the case, Putin has apparently already secured a Second Cold War for Russia. Russia successfully lost one, after which the USSR collapsed. Presumably, after the second, the Russian Empire will collapse, and for good. And then it may turn out that Putin will indeed be left holding the dead donkey's ears, which he once offered to someone in his characteristic manner (6).

It goes without saying that Obama overlooked the situation Putin created around Ukraine, which, if one were to look closely, was easily discernible given the Kremlin's entire previous domestic and foreign policy and the rabble of political monsters gathered around Russia, including Lukashenko, Ahmadinejad, Assad, and the late Hugo Chávez. As soon as Russia gained a modicum of strength, Great Russian chauvinism, thanks to Putin, reawakened. It's amazing how much malice has suddenly surfaced among Russians toward the fraternal Slavic people of Ukraine! What then should other neighboring nations expect? Today, it's "Give us Crimea." Tomorrow, expect Kazakhstan, where about 20% of the population is Russian, to follow, then Azerbaijan, with the help of Armenian Nazis, which will disrupt projects to deliver hydrocarbons from the Caspian Basin countries to Europe, and in passing, seize what remains of Georgia. In short, if the West continues to act, as it did with Nazi Germany, the world will get a new Führer in Putin, and as a consequence, World War III (7). In fact, the spirit of fascism has long hovered over the remnants of the Russian Empire, and after the collapse of the USSR, Putin had no trouble finding popular support for his intention to return the empire to the people within its former borders. Recall the unanimous jubilation with which the Russian people handed Putin the presidency after he drenched Chechnya in blood (8). Putin had neither a party nor a party ideology, unlike Hitler, who had to create a party and organize powerful propaganda for fascist ideology so that the German people would believe him and follow him. Putin merely opened the floodgates to Great-Russian chauvinism, the crest of which carried him to power. Putin tapped into something that had always been there, something that surfaced from the depths of the people's consciousness just as the empire began to crumble like a house of cards. So Stalin, who had a keen understanding of the national mentality, was a hundred times right when he spoke of Great-Russian chauvinism. To this day, the Russian people honor the memory of their leader, and if Putin suddenly needs popular support again, he would receive it, for example, by returning Stalingrad to its former name. The Russian Empire and chauvinism—the ideological and spiritual core of the Russian people—are inseparable concepts. Fascist ideology was imposed on the German people by Hitler and his party. Modern Germany, free of fascist ideology, is a democratic, economically powerful country. Take away the Russian people's empire, and they, unlike the German people, would, as I said, be lost in a democracy.

History repeats itself: the first aggressive steps of Nazi Germany began with the distribution of German passports to Sudeten Germans and a demagogic campaign against Czechs, who were allegedly "committing atrocities" against the German minority. By analogy, this is what is happening today in Crimea and throughout Ukraine. But history also repeats itself in that every empire disintegrates, and Putin's Russia is like a drowning man in a swamp, with every movement only bringing inevitable death closer. This time, it's unlikely there will be a wise man offering a saving hand.

October 7, - cause and effect

 Alik Bahshi

October 7, - cause and effect

On October 7, 2023, Israel was subjected to a terrorist attack by Palestinians from Gaza, who, it must be said frankly, took advantage of the arrogance of Israeli border guards during the holidays, killed 1,200 people and took 242 hostages to Gaza. So, once again a war began again, which in duration exceeded 5 months and, despite the incomparable military superiority of Israel, continues to this day, claiming the lives of both Palestinians and Israelis.

The United States and the EU, on the one hand, condemned the actions of Palestinian terrorists and believe that Israel has the right to punish the Palestinians, but at the same time they call on Israel to be more careful when dropping multi-ton bombs on Gaza, which has the largest population density in the world. Frankly, it’s amazing how a pilot dropping a bomb from a height can distinguish a terrorist from an ordinary citizen. After all, the Palestinians do not have a regular army with tanks, guns and planes. In general, judging by the scale of the destroyed buildings, they were all inhabited by terrorists, and it should be noted that this is closer to the truth. It is difficult to imagine that their residents would not wish the Israelis dead, given the conditions of their powerless existence under apartheid and the number of deaths from rockets, bombs and shells. I will not be wrong if I say that every Palestinian is a potential terrorist, including women.

You don’t have to be particularly perspicacious not to understand why from the very first day of the formation of Israel in Palestine there has been a war between Jews and Arabs, and why martial law was introduced in Israel, which has not yet been lifted. The point is the demographic situation that arose immediately with the organization of the state for Jews. Israel cannot be a Jewish state if the majority of its citizens are Arabs. Therefore, expelled Palestinians emerged and became refugees scattered throughout the surrounding Arab countries. The remaining part of the Arab population of the former Palestine received Israeli citizenship, while most of the Palestinians were isolated in the autonomy, the territory of which, like shagreen leather, is shrinking from year to year.

                                              kartina.jpg

As a result of Israel's expansionist policy, the territory of the Palestinian Authority differs sharply from the territory of the Palestinian state, provided for by the well-known UN decision to create two states in place of Palestine for two peoples - Jewish and Arab. The Israeli government ignored the UN decision and found a solution to the problem by building a concrete wall around the occupied territory, which is more like a huge prison without a roof. The population of the autonomy is deprived of the civil rights inherent in citizens of the state and is a supplier of cheap labor. Isolating Palestinians in a concrete sack is very similar to the action of a state pursuing an apartheid policy. It would be another matter if the construction of this wall reflected a mutual agreement on the state border between Jews and Palestinians, but, unfortunately, there is no such agreement, and the location of the wall only secures the annexed territories for Israel, emphasizing aggressive intentions towards the Arabs, and most importantly, the wall acquires the meaning of another, additionally created, obstacle on the path to peace.

In modern times, due to the war, Israel is experiencing serious problems in the field of construction, which has completely stopped, and in the declining production of agricultural products, the prices of which have increased by 50%. Israeli businessmen, accustomed to dealing with Palestinians from the autonomy, are not ready to pay much higher salaries to workers invited from abroad. Continuation of the war could lead to a catastrophic state of the economy.

As I wrote earlier (1), the blame for the fact that there is a permanent war going on in the former Palestine lies entirely with the UN, which was obliged to foresee the confrontation that had occurred and first send troops to the stipulated border of the division of Palestine in accordance with the map.

                                                                                            Picture2.jpg

The attack by Palestinian terrorists on October 7, which initiated military action, also initiated an appeal by the world community to the cause of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Many Western politicians, including Biden, suddenly remembered a state for the Palestinians and began to speak out about its creation as the only way to end this half-century-old conflict. This circumstance leads to a very unpleasant conclusion, namely, if not for the Hamas terrorists, then no one would have mentioned the forgotten state for the Palestinians, although everyone had long known how to stop the bloodshed between Jews and Arabs, but remained silent so as not to irritate... .

By the way, a few words about terrorists. The fact is that partisans also engage in terror; moreover, any war cannot do without mass terror, as a result of which civilians die. There is the same difference between terrorists and partisans as there is between spies and intelligence officers. (2.3)

On the Breakdown of Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia

Alik Bakhshi

On the Breakdown of Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia

Президент Ильхам Алиев поздравил Президента Владимира Путина с Днем России - Информационно-культурный портал

The recent breakdown in relations between Baku and Moscow was entirely expected. Russia's aggressive imperial policies have never been supported by Azerbaijan, and the ethnic persecution of Azerbaijanis in Russia has exposed the aggressive nature of the Russian state and the Russian people toward other nations. Some believe that Putin is to blame, but this is far from the truth, as everything Putin does finds support among the Russian people. Perhaps I'm just unlucky, but I haven't met a single Russian who condemns Putin. I was shocked to see a long line of Russian Israelis at the Tel Aviv embassy voting for Putin during the presidential election. I'm sure that Russians living in Azerbaijan also support Putin. Russians, like those in Ukraine or Lithuania, are a fifth column, supporting the lies emanating from the Kremlin. Aliyev did the right thing by shutting down Sputnik, known for its espionage and propaganda activities. It's no wonder this Russian organization was shut down in many countries. I personally experienced Russian media activity. Ten years ago, not on the Russian, but on the Azerbaijani Russian-language forum Bakililar.az  the administration there blocked me for my anti-Putin articles without any explanation. Incidentally, I'm still banned from publishing there. I have no doubt that, given the opportunity, Russians in Azerbaijan will reveal their feelings about the country they live in, as happened in Ukraine.

Today, the Kremlin has unleashed all its full-time propagandists on Azerbaijan and President Aliyev, who, you see, dared to call on the Russian authorities to maintain order and justice in accordance with the law.

Some readers have seen my words as inciting hatred toward the Russian people. As an example, I'll cite a comment on my Facebook page from a certain Oleg Namazov, who expressed outrage at my characterization of the Russian people as Great Russian chauvinism.

Oleg Namazov:

In the USSR, things weren't like they are now. I said and did whatever I wanted, and the chauvinism was of the utmost proportions. And yet, I could confidently prove any truth to Russians, just like an Azerbaijani, whether in Moscow or Irkutsk. And so, this point of view of yours is also part of the toolkit of those who pull strings and manipulate public opinion...

Oleg Namazov, you're saying the chauvinism was of the utmost proportions? Doesn't the fact that all higher education textbooks were in Russian mean anything to you? Dissertations were required to be written exclusively in Russian. In other words, the entire elite, the entire cultural stratum of any people in the USSR, had to be represented in Russian. The national languages of the peoples were in danger of disappearing. Russians generally didn't know the language of the indigenous peoples in the republics and even mocked those who spoke Russian poorly. And if anyone protested this situation, they would be labelling a nationalist and, at best, sent to a mental hospital. The national republics were subjected to state-sponsored plunder. Have you ever wondered why, when the country was starving, people went to Moscow for sausage and butter? You say you did whatever you wanted in the USSR, but your desires were very limited, like a bug that needs nothing more than an acre of blood. I, too, wanted fried potatoes back then, but the butter disappeared from the grocery stores in Baku. I had no choice but to fly to Moscow to fulfill my desire. I bought 15 kg of butter, which I melted in the student dorm. The smell of melted butter permeated the entire floor. Oleg Namazov probably hasn't wondered why Moscow has everything, while Baku doesn't even have such a basic commodity as butter.

Azerbaijan, having freed itself from Moscow, has been transformed, and this is a clear example of what independence from Russia has brought. And what kind of Russian people are they, who overwhelmingly vote for Putin and consider Crimea and Ukraine Russian soil, is evident from the atrocities they witnessed in Bucha and Baku. This is chauvinism, which you've sized up to the size of a bedbug. Rather, your dear fellow, you have the brain of a bedbug.

And the USSR, by its very nature, was a gigantic bedbug, sucking the blood of other peoples, reducing them to poverty. And when everything had been sucked dry, Moscow, realizing it had nothing left to feed itself with, issued a cry: "We have nothing left to feed the other republics with." And now that the free republics have grown stronger, it has smelled fresh blood. This is the essence of Russia and its people. It is the people who determine the place where they live. As the saying goes, it's not the place that makes the man, but the man that makes the place. So, the people of Russia are like their country. And Russia is an aggressor, and it's not Putin's fault, but the Russian people. However, this applies to any nation. No one but the people is responsible for everything they've done. In short, the country is like the people. For example, Finland is the most prosperous country, and it owes its prosperity to the people who live there. Finland has no oil or gas, a quarter of the country is covered in snow for eight months, while Russia has oil, gas, and fertile soil, yet its people live in poverty. Relocate Finns to Russia, and Russians to Finland, and it's not hard to imagine what prosperous Finland would become, and how Russia would be transformed. Finns work and create wealth, build enormous airliners, produce telephones—in other words, they produce everything for the benefit of the people—while Russians create Kalashnikovs to rob and kill people. There you have it, a distinctive feature, in this case, of the Russian people, from other nations.
